PHOENIX - West Sussex - Fireworks Flash

Celebrate Fireworks Night with Phoenix Running West Sussex at the scenic Downslink Trail in Southwater, West Sussex. This unique timed event offers flexibility and freedom for runners of all abilities to choose their own adventure. The 5km out-and-back course along the Downslink is perfect for those looking to explore or challenge themselves further.
Participants can opt for a single lap, earning them both finisher status and recognition in our eyes. For more ambitious runners, there's no limit on how far you can go within the generous seven-hour time frame. Every runner receives a bespoke finisher’s medal at the end of their journey.
The event operates with flexible 'rock up and run' start times, allowing participants to begin whenever they like before the 3pm cutoff. This format encourages runners to gauge their own pace on race day, making it ideal for both casual joggers and serious competitors alike.
Set against the backdrop of West Sussex's natural beauty, this off-road trail offers a compact yet picturesque route that is predominantly flat, ensuring an enjoyable experience regardless of your distance choice. Join us for what promises to be an unforgettable evening run under the stars.
The event organizers encourage early entry as spots are strictly limited due to its unique format and popularity.
