SOS - Belrose

Orienteering enthusiasts are invited to participate in the high-energy Saturday Orienteering Series Term 4, set to take place on school grounds with a focus on fast-paced courses and intricate navigation challenges. Each week offers unique map layouts and route choices designed for quick thinking and strategic decision-making.
The event features four distinct course options: Warm Up (ideal for beginners), Short Line, Long Line, and Score, along with an additional weekly relay course that accommodates teams of 2 to 4 runners. Participants can choose their preferred level based on skill and experience or opt to tackle multiple courses during the day if they wish.
The series is held at Covenant Christian School in Belrose NSW, providing a dynamic setting among buildings, courtyards, staircases, and open areas that make for an intense yet exciting orienteering challenge. Coaches will be available to assist participants with improving their skills throughout the event.
Participants can expect a friendly and upbeat atmosphere where everyone is encouraged to learn, grow, and enjoy the camaraderie of competition. Whether you're looking to test your navigation abilities or simply join in for some outdoor fun, this series offers an engaging experience suitable for all levels.
The meeting point at Covenant Christian School (212 Forest Way, Belrose NSW 2085) is accessible from Dell St, and participants can start anytime between 9:30am and 11am. SPORTident timing will be used across all courses; those without a card are welcome to hire one upon entry.
Entry fees include discounts for members using the promo code "ONSW" at checkout, as well as late registration options available until midday on Thursday before the event with an added $2 fee per entrant.
