Snow Trail by UTMA

On January 16, 2027, the Ultra Trail des Monts d'Arrée is set to host its second edition of the Snow Trail by UTMA, starting from Commana. The event features three distinct courses designed for runners with varying interests and skill levels.
The longest course, the Snow Trail by UTMA, spans a challenging 26 kilometers with an elevation gain of 850 meters. Starting at 4:30 PM, this route offers breathtaking views as it traverses the craggy peaks of the Monts d'Arrée, leading towards the iconic Mont Saint-Michel and its chapel. The course is both demanding and accessible, making it perfect for trail runners seeking an adrenaline-packed adventure under the night sky.
For those looking to experience a more manageable distance while still enjoying the natural beauty of the area, the 10-kilometer Snow Trail by UTMA presents itself as an ideal option. With an elevation gain of 250 meters and starting at 5:00 PM, this course winds through the serene woods surrounding Commana, providing a peaceful yet immersive journey into the local landscape.
The Little Snow Trail by UTMA caters specifically to young runners with its shorter distance of just 5 kilometers and an elevation gain of 150 meters. Starting promptly at 4:45 PM, this route is open exclusively for cadets and offers them a chance to explore the woods near Commana in a tranquil setting.
