Sittingbourne 10 Mile & 10k Road Race

Join the Sittingbourne Striders for their celebrated 40th anniversary road race on October 3, 2027. This iconic event offers both a challenging 10-mile and a scenic 10k course through Kent's picturesque countryside. The route winds through rolling hills and lush green landscapes, providing runners with stunning rural vistas at every turn.
The race starts and finishes at the vibrant Kent Science Park in Sittingbourne, which combines modern facilities with open parklands and historic features to create an inviting atmosphere for both participants and spectators. On-site amenities include a café offering refreshments before and after the run, indoor registration areas, and accessible toilets, ensuring runners have everything they need.
Beyond its scenic beauty, this year's race holds special significance as it marks four decades of community support through running events organized by Sittingbourne Striders. Funds raised will benefit The Oliver Fisher Special Care Baby Trust, which aids in providing advanced medical equipment for premature or sick infants at the Neonatal Unit in Medway Maritime Hospital.
The event is also supported by Bayford Meadows Kart Circuit, a local motorsport venue that contributes to community activities and supports junior cycling and family running sessions. This partnership ensures runners of all ages have access to safe environments where they can enjoy sports and develop essential skills.
