About the Event

Experience breathtaking ocean views as you run along Ventura's picturesque beachfront during the Surfers Point Marathon Weekend, scheduled for July 11, 2027. The mostly flat course features three loops of certified Boston Qualifier distances, offering full marathon, half marathon, and shorter races like 5k and 10k options. Ideal for all levels—from weekend warriors to elite runners—the event is walker-friendly with generous water stations every few miles.
Early starters have the option to begin at 6 am, allowing ample time to complete the race within the seven-hour limit while still enjoying post-race festivities. The out-and-back course along Historic Old Rincon Highway provides a scenic backdrop and cool breezes for comfortable running conditions. Middle-of-the-pack runners can aim for personal bests on this flat terrain, while advanced athletes will appreciate the opportunity to showcase their speed alongside stunning ocean vistas.
As part of the Surfers Point Race Series, completing all three races earns you a special series finisher medal. Join fellow participants and revel in the supportive atmosphere as you celebrate your achievements with cold drinks at the post-race party.
