Seoul Life Marathon 2026

On November 21, 2026, the Seoul Life Marathon returns to Peace Plaza within Peace Park in Sangam, Seoul. This intergenerational event offers runners of all ages and abilities three distinct distances: half marathon, 10K, and 5K. The race kicks off at 7:50 a.m., with participants enjoying scenic routes through the heart of Seoul's vibrant cityscape. As the day progresses, smaller groups start their races at predetermined times, ensuring everyone has an enjoyable experience regardless of pace or distance chosen.
The half marathon leads runners along dynamic urban pathways and into quieter sections that highlight the natural beauty surrounding Peace Park. The 10K course offers a mix of challenging hills and flat stretches through bustling neighborhoods, while the shorter 5K route provides a perfect introduction to competitive running for newcomers or those looking for an easier option.
Upon crossing the finish line, runners can look forward to traditional Korean janchi noodles and twisted rice doughnuts as part of their post-race treats. A free medal engraving service operates from 8:30 a.m. until noon, allowing participants to personalize their medals with memorable dates or names. For teams of twenty or more, the event provides one canopy booth for rest and relaxation.
The Seoul Life Marathon is not just about racing; it's an inclusive celebration where communities come together to support each other in achieving personal milestones on this historic day.
