SEASON 3 WILD HYBRID NORTHUMBERLAND - DRURIDGE BAY COUNTRY PARK

Druridge Bay Country Park, nestled along the stunning Northumberland Coast, serves as the picturesque venue for this year's Hybrid Event and Geordieman Triathlon. The park offers breathtaking views of rolling hills and expansive beaches, making it an ideal setting for runners to challenge themselves while enjoying nature.
The Hybrid Event features a unique course that combines elements of both trail running and beach sprints. Participants will start by circling the serene Lake in Druridge Bay Country Park on their 1km runs before heading out onto the sandy shores for a final exhilarating 5km stretch along the coastline. The functional workout segment takes place on lush grass overlooking the tranquil waters, providing runners with an invigorating and scenic experience.
Families are encouraged to join the festivities by bringing spectators who can enjoy amenities such as the park's café, playground area, and leisurely walks around the lake and beach. These additional attractions make it a perfect day out for all ages.
The event is scheduled for May 15, 2027, with start times confirmed one week in advance and ranging from early morning to late afternoon (8am - 5pm). Runners will benefit from live chip timing throughout the course, ensuring accurate results that capture every moment of their journey.
Upon crossing the finish line, all participants will be rewarded with unique merchandise and products provided by event sponsors. In addition, podium positions in each standard category (RX) are marked with flags, which will be mailed to winners after the race.
