Seaside Showdown Series: Mickeleens Path

The Seaside Showdown Series invites runners to explore the scenic coastal trails of Witless Bay with its series of challenging yet rewarding races. Designed for both seasoned racers and newcomers, each race promises an engaging experience that caters to all levels of expertise.
Participants can look forward to a 11km loop on Mickeleens Path, starting from the "Old Track" located opposite the trailhead near Witless Bay Trail Head. The route winds through picturesque coastal landscapes, offering stunning views and varied terrain that will test runners' skills while providing ample opportunities for breathtaking scenery.
Race day registration takes place between 8:10am and 8:30am at the starting line on Mickeleens Path, with bib pick-up occurring simultaneously. The race kicks off promptly at 9 am. To help navigate the course accurately, participants are encouraged to request a GPX file for their Garmin Watches or other compatible devices.
Volunteers will be stationed along key sections of the route to ensure that runners stay on track and provide assistance as needed. However, it is important for all competitors to familiarize themselves with the trail layout beforehand since this race does not feature flagging markers.

The Seaside Showdown Series comprises four distinct races throughout the year, each held on unique trails such as Sugarloaf Path and Deadman's Bay Path. While individual race registrations are available separately, a season pass can be purchased for those looking to participate in all events.
To ensure fairness and respect towards organizers, waitlisters, and committed participants, registration transfers or refunds (minus service fees) may only occur under specific circumstances such as event cancellations.
