ECT 50% Half Marathon

Join the East Coast Trail Ultramarathon (ECT) for an exhilarating and challenging 50-kilometer journey along Newfoundland's scenic coastline. Scheduled to take place on October 9, 2027, this race offers a unique blend of speed and endurance through some of Canada’s most breathtaking natural landscapes.
Race day starts at Ann Waterman Family Park in Flatrock with check-in from 8:15 am to 8:45 am. Participants will embark on the challenging course that winds along rugged trails and passes by Middle Cove Beach, where aid stations provide essential hydration and energy drinks. The race is a "rain or shine" event, so runners must be prepared for varying weather conditions with appropriate gear.
The ECT Ultramarathon is supported by the East Coast Trail Association, The Outfitters, and Train 4 Trails, ensuring that every runner receives top-notch support throughout their journey. This year’s edition promises an unforgettable experience, combining scenic beauty with technical trail running challenges.
