Welcome to Scandicloppet, an exciting race day set for Saturday, September 19th in Själevad. This annual running festival offers runners of all ages and abilities the chance to participate in four distinct races: Nordic Wellness Loppet (2.4 km), HK Assistans Funkislopp (2.4 km), CoreITloppet (5 km), and Huvudloppet Scandicloppet (10 km). With prizes worth at least 20,000 SEK up for grabs, the event promises a day filled with excitement and camaraderie. The Nordic Wellness Loppet is designed to cater to young participants aged up to 15 years old as well as adults. Starting promptly at 10:15 AM from Själevadskolan, this race offers both timed and untimed options for runners of varying skill levels. Similarly, the HK Assistans Funkislopp begins shortly after at 10:20 AM, offering a unique challenge with opportunities to turn back if needed. CoreITloppet welcomes participants aged up to 15 years old born in or after 2011 as well as adults for a scenic and challenging 5 km route. This race starts at 11:15 AM and takes runners around the picturesque Själevadsfjärden, followed by Mycklingstjärn before finishing back at Själevadskolan. The highlight of Scandicloppet is undoubtedly Huvudloppet, a competitive 10 km race that starts at noon. This event features an iconic loop around the stunning Själevadsfjärden and Mycklingstjärn with motivational speakers along the way to keep participants energized. For those looking for a shorter experience or simply want to join in on the fun, there's also a 1 km tipsrunda organized by Utekompaniet. This family-friendly event offers a relaxed atmosphere where spectators can cheer their loved ones on from start to finish at Själevadskolan and enjoy light refreshments. Participants are encouraged to register online through Mittlopp until Friday, September 18th at midnight. On-site registration is also available 30 minutes before each race's scheduled start time for those who prefer a last-minute entry. Race numbers will be distributed no later than half an hour prior to the commencement of each event. The day promises numerous amenities including designated changing rooms and showers in Själevadskolans sports hall, ensuring runners can freshen up after their races. Refreshment stands are available both at the start and finish lines offering hamburgers and snacks for purchase, while a speaker system will provide live music throughout the event. Scandicloppet not only celebrates athletic achievement but also fosters community spirit among participants of all ages. Join us to experience an unforgettable day in Själevad!
