Save The Rhino Run

Join Saturn Running for the Save The Rhino Run, taking place on April 10, 2027. This inclusive event welcomes runners and walkers alike to raise funds and awareness for rhino conservation efforts. Participants can choose from a variety of distances starting at just 3km, with full control over how many laps they complete within a generous seven-hour window.
The race begins at The Last Hop in Staines, where you'll embark on a scenic route along the River Thames. This well-marked course features mainly tarmac paths and road shoes are suitable for all conditions year-round. Younger runners can take advantage of designated turn points to adhere to UK Athletics distance guidelines.
Registration opens with member discounts available at £10 off full price entries, plus a mini-me medal pin at every event attended as part of the membership perks. Affiliated members of UK Athletics clubs also receive an additional discount on their entry fee.
Upon crossing the finish line after completing 3km or more, you'll earn one of Saturn Running's themed medals along with distance-specific pins for those who achieve half-marathon distances and beyond. Vegan-friendly goody bags are available upon request during registration to cater to dietary preferences.
The event venue offers basic facilities including toilets; however, separate changing rooms and showers are not provided. Parking is conveniently located at Bridge Street Car Park in Staines.
