Save The Rhino Run - Northampton

Join the Save The Rhino Run on April 18, 2027, in Northampton and support conservation efforts for rhinos. This inclusive event welcomes runners of all abilities and even walkers who are looking to contribute to a good cause.
The race takes place around the scenic Northampton Washlands, featuring well-maintained paths that wind through picturesque landscapes. Participants have seven hours at their disposal to complete as many laps as they choose, with each lap covering 4.37 miles (7km). Younger runners can opt for shorter distances by using designated turn points.
For those aiming high, the course offers opportunities to tackle half-marathon and marathon distances, along with an ultra distance of over 50 kilometers. Upon completing at least 3 kilometers, all participants receive a themed medal that celebrates their achievement. Additionally, special pins are available for runners who reach half-marathon or greater distances.
The event includes a goody bag filled with treats and refreshments, including vegan options to cater to diverse dietary needs. A well-stocked aid table is also set up at the start/finish area, offering drinks and snacks throughout the day. Members of UK Athletics-affiliated clubs receive a discount on their entry fees, adding an extra incentive for club members.
Race registration takes place on event day where you can pick up your number before setting off. The venue offers toilets but no changing or shower facilities are provided. Limited parking is available at the site with additional spaces nearby that may incur charges.
This run not only supports rhino conservation efforts through donations and fundraising activities, such as an adorable rhino pin for £3, but also fosters a community spirit among participants dedicated to making a difference.
