Saturn Too invites runners to the Reason To Treason event in Northampton, offering an unparalleled flexible running experience that caters to all skill levels. Whether you're aiming for a quick 3km jog or planning to challenge yourself over seven hours, this event promises something special for everyone.
Flexibility and Inclusivity
Participants can run any distance from 3 kilometers up to the full time limit of 7 hours. The route features well-maintained paths around Northampton Washlands, providing a scenic backdrop that’s perfect for both casual runners and those seeking a more rigorous challenge. Younger participants will appreciate designated turn points at 3km and 5km, ensuring compliance with UK Athletics distance rules.
Membership Benefits
Becoming a member of Saturn Too offers significant perks including discounted entry fees (up to £10 less than the full price) and exclusive access to mini-me medal pins. Members also receive guaranteed entry into all events, enhancing their experience further.
The event adheres strictly to UK Athletics guidelines and Trail Running Association standards, ensuring a safe and organized environment for runners of all ages. Affiliated club members can enjoy an additional £2 discount on registration fees.
Medals and Pins
All participants who complete at least 3 kilometers will receive one of Saturn Too’s themed medals as recognition of their achievement. For those aiming higher, distance pins are available to commemorate half-marathon (13.1 miles), marathon (26.2 miles), ultra-distance runs (7 laps or more), and the challenging 50km feat.
Aid Stations
Support is plentiful with a well-stocked aid table at both the start/finish line and throughout each lap, offering an array of refreshments including drinks, snacks like crisps, cheese, fruit, cookies, and vegan-friendly options to keep runners fueled during their journey.
Special Recognition
Celebrate milestones such as your 50th or 100th run with a personalized running number bearing your name and the event date. This unique touch adds an extra layer of personal significance for those marking special achievements at this race.
While changing facilities are not provided, there are public restrooms available on-site. Limited parking is offered near the venue; however, nearby paid options may be utilized if necessary.
Race Day Details
