SÃO GARRAFA RUN 2026

On December 13, 2026, runners of all ages will gather for an exciting race day featuring distances that cater to both seasoned athletes and young enthusiasts. The main events are the 5K and 15K runs, which wind through paved streets and natural areas, offering a mix of urban scenery and tranquil landscapes.
The event welcomes participants as young as two years old with a dedicated Kids' Race for children aged between 2-8 who can enjoy their own fun course designed to be safe and engaging. For the adult races, runners will start at different times: those tackling the longer distance set off at 6:15 AM followed by the shorter race starting an hour later.
The kit options range from a simple package with essential items like medals and timing chips to more comprehensive packages that include apparel and exclusive merchandise such as branded clothing and accessories. Participants can collect their kits during designated times on December 9th, 10th, and 12th at the TRACK&FIELD São Francisco store.
Competitive spirits will be rewarded with overall male and female awards for both distances along with age-group prizes that span various decades from under 15 to over 70. The top three largest groups or running clubs also receive recognition.
Safety is a priority, with medical teams stationed throughout the course alongside hydration stations providing essential support. Runners are reminded of rules regarding proper footwear and adherence to race regulations for their own safety and that of others on site.
