About the Event

Under the slogan of passing strength on to the future, this relay is held around Lake Saiko, a green and scenic spot popular with runners. Teams of five, men and women, share a 25km relay marathon, and former Olympians and Hakone and Miyakoji legends take part. A pair run and a parent-child run, both 2km, are also offered. Beginners and athletes are both welcome.
The relay costs 22,500 yen per team (7,500 yen for junior and senior high school teams). The pair run and the parent-child run cost 4,000 yen per team each. Fees include insurance and tax.
