About the Event

This event in Showa Kinen Park, based at the Undo Hiroba field, uses a serious course that partly overlaps with the Hakone Ekiden qualifier route. It is not a certified race, though it runs on almost the same course and pace runners are provided, making it useful as preparation for a main target race.
Running events are the half marathon, a half relay (teams of three or four), 30 km, 10 km, 5 km, a 2 km mini marathon, a 2 km parent-and-child pair marathon and a 730 m challenge run. There are also 5 km and 10 km walk events, which pass through areas normally closed to the public.
