Devon Runners invites you to join us on January 2nd, 2027 for an exciting running experience along the picturesque disused train line that winds through the heart of Devon. If you're looking to kick off your year with a bit of adventure and relaxation, we also host events from December 28th to January 3rd, offering various options including our challenging '4 in 4 days', '5 in 5 days', or even the ambitious '7 in 7' series. Our event is designed around flexibility; you can turn up anytime between 7:30 and 14:30 with no need to pre-register – simply show up, get going, and enjoy. The course stretches out along a scenic tarmac path that measures exactly 5.3 kilometers each way, providing runners and walkers alike with the perfect blend of challenge and beauty. Whether you're aiming for one lap or multiple circuits before the cut-off time at 15:30, every participant is celebrated as both a finisher and winner upon completion. Each lap offers breathtaking views and an enjoyable run along this historic route that winds through lush landscapes. The event caters to all abilities, from casual strollers to seasoned runners who might push themselves further. Medals are awarded to everyone who completes their chosen distance within the given timeframe, making it a memorable way to start your running journey or add another notch in your belt as an experienced runner.
