Step into a day of community and inspiration with the Breast Cancer Run, an annual event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for those affected by breast cancer. On February 27, 2027, runners will lace up their shoes to support this crucial cause in a warm, personal setting that celebrates every participant's unique journey.
This race offers a variety of distance options: the traditional 5K and 10K runs, along with a half-marathon for those looking for an extended challenge. Each route is designed to cater to all paces and ages, welcoming runners as young as 18 (accompanied by a guardian) who can choose to run or walk at their own pace.
The event's small-scale format ensures that participants are never just numbers but rather integral members of the community. With no gear setup required, race day is relaxed and stress-free, allowing you to focus on your personal best while being cheered on every step of the way by dedicated coordinators.
Participants can opt for optional timing using their preferred tracking app (Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run) or request assistance from event staff if they prefer not to time themselves. Regardless of how it's done, all results are recorded and shared online with a certificate of completion.
Race swag includes a running T-shirt shipped directly to your U.S. address before the race date, as well as a finisher’s medal awarded upon completion. An additional lightweight moisture-wicking technical shirt is available for an extra $5 at registration if desired.
Registration details are streamlined without packet pickup lines; bib numbers and medals are handed out on-site while swag bags ship directly to your home address. For last-minute sign-ups within two weeks of the race, participants may not receive their shirts in time but can still enjoy running with us regardless.
Detailed course maps and final event information will be sent via email by Wednesday before the race date, ensuring everyone is well-prepared for a memorable day out on the trails or streets. Waves start at 7:30 AM, 8:00 AM, and 8:30 AM respectively, with coordinators available until three hours after the first wave to accommodate latecomers.
In addition to in-person participation, runners who prefer flexibility can join our Virtual Run option, receiving a digital training pack via email ahead of time. Results from this virtual run must be submitted to [email protected] for medal eligibility.
