About the Event

Experience the thrill of running on the same grounds that hosted London's Olympic rowing events at Dorney Lake. This purpose-built venue, nestled near the picturesque village of Dorney in Buckinghamshire, offers runners a flat and fast course ideal for setting personal bests over 5k, 10k or half marathon distances.
The race starts promptly at 9:10 am with all participants taking off together on a scenic road circuit. For those tackling the half marathon distance, you'll complete four laps around Dorney Lake's perimeter and make U-turns along the way. The 10k route consists of two full laps through this serene setting, while the shorter 5k is one lap that showcases the beauty of the lake.
With minimal elevation gain, runners can focus on their pace as they take in views of rowing clubs lining the shores and enjoy a supportive atmosphere from spectators along the course. Whether you're aiming for speed or simply appreciating the stunning backdrop, Dorney Lake offers an unforgettable running experience amidst iconic Olympic surroundings.
