About the Event

Experience the thrill of running on Dorney Lake, the iconic venue that hosted rowing events during the London 2012 Olympics. Nestled in Buckinghamshire near the picturesque village of Dorney, this purpose-built lake offers stunning scenery and a flat terrain perfect for runners aiming to set personal bests over distances ranging from 5k to half marathon.
On July 31, 2027, participants will start at 9:10 am with all distances beginning simultaneously. The course features well-laid roads around the lake, providing scenic views of water and greenery throughout each lap. For those tackling the half marathon, expect four laps with a U-turn after each two miles, while 10k runners complete two full circuits. Meanwhile, the shorter 5k distance offers one loop around this idyllic setting.
Whether you're aiming for speed or simply enjoying the picturesque surroundings, Dorney Lake presents an unforgettable running experience.
