ROGUE//MOUNTAIN

Set against the rugged backdrop of Mt Spokane State Park and Riverside State Park near Spokane, ROGUE//MOUNTAIN invites runners to push their limits on October 2, 2027. This challenging race offers two unique options: a grueling 6-hour run/ruck or an intense 2-hour sprint, both featuring a scenic out-and-back route from Selkirk Lodge to the summit of Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout.
The course winds through diverse terrain, marked with orange fluorescent flagging for easy navigation. Runners will experience stunning vistas and challenging climbs as they traverse pristine wilderness areas known for their beauty and difficulty. At each aid station – located at Selkirk Lodge (start/finish) and the halfway point atop Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout Tower – participants can refuel with Tailwind Nutrition's Endurance Fuel, NeverSecond 30g carb gels and bars, and 1st Phorm protein bars.
Registration opens early on race day, followed by a pre-race briefing to ensure everyone is prepared for the adventure ahead. Runners are encouraged to bring their own preferred nutrition but will have access to essential supplies along the course. A Discover Pass is required for entry into state parks; it should be visible in vehicles upon arrival.
Upon reaching Quartz Mountain Fire Lookout, participants can take a celebratory photo and show proof of summiting at Selkirk Lodge to receive credit towards their total laps completed. All finishers will earn a Phase One Training Tee and Patch as tokens of achievement for conquering this formidable challenge.
