Riverbend Ultras 12 HR/50K

Riverbend Ultras 12 Hour/50K/Fun Run invites runners of all levels to experience the serene beauty and tranquility of Riverbend Park, located along Picnic Island. This special edition commemorates those lost on September 11, 2011, with participants encouraged to wear patriotic colors as a tribute.
The event offers three distinct options: a challenging 50K race, an endurance-focused 12-hour run, and a family-friendly fun run. The route for the 50K features two loops around Picnic Island followed by nine laps of the scenic Riverbend Loop along the Loxahatchee River, totaling approximately 31 miles.
For those taking on the grueling 12-hour challenge, runners will start with multiple laps of the 3.2-mile loop until after 6 PM when they transition to Picnic Island for the remainder of their time. Both the 50K and 12-Hour races offer medals upon completion as well as trophies for top male and female finishers.
Participants in both endurance events will need to bring their own food, water, and fuel, with no aid stations available along the course. Runners are welcome to set up camp near a large tiki hut or use personal tents within designated areas provided by organizers.
The event is organized as a non-profit endeavor, aiming to raise funds for wounded veterans relief through donations collected from registration fees exceeding basic operational costs. All proceeds contribute directly towards supporting these brave individuals who have served their country with distinction.
Registration includes shirts and medals for the 50K and 12-Hour runners, while fun run participants receive a medal upon completion at no additional cost beyond a nominal fee covering administrative expenses. No refunds are offered; however, registrations can be deferred to the following year if necessary, ensuring continued support for veterans regardless.
