RIO MARAVILHA ETAPA PRIMAVERA 2026

On October 18, 2026, Rio de Janeiro hosts the Urban Run & Walk Event at Praça Mauá, located near the Museum of Art of Rio (MAR). The race offers both runners and walkers a scenic course through the heart of the city. Participants can choose between a competitive 5K run or a leisurely 3K walk.
The event kicks off with an early morning start, beginning at 7:25 AM for participants in the PCD category followed by the general 5K race at 7:30 AM and the 3K walk shortly after. All finishers receive medals to commemorate their achievement.
Scenic spots along the route include iconic landmarks of Rio de Janeiro, providing runners with breathtaking views as they navigate through the bustling city streets. The event includes hydration stations located every 2.5 kilometers for both races, ensuring participants stay hydrated throughout their run or walk.
The day's festivities conclude around noon when awards are presented to top finishers in various categories including general male and female divisions, age groups, and special PCD classifications. Prizes will also be awarded based on state representation for the 5K race. Participants can enjoy a full morning of activity before packing up their belongings by 9:30 AM.
Registration is now open through October 15th or until capacity is reached via links shared across AR2 EVENTOS’ official website and social media platforms, with early bird pricing available at R$89.99 for the first lot from July 24 to August 24, increasing slightly in subsequent lots up to the final price of R$159.98.
