Ride The Karoo | 3-Day Stage Race

Immerse yourself in the heart of South Africa's vast Karoo landscape at Dwarsvlei farm for Ride The Karoo, an unforgettable cycling experience. Each stage takes you past historical landmarks such as century-old stables and stone walls that have stood strong through two centuries of history. Riders will navigate double-lane sheep tracks winding through open fields, passing by the iconic windpumps that dot this arid yet picturesque terrain.
The event celebrates authentic Karoo hospitality with traditional braais (barbecues), fresh farm bread, rich condensed milk coffee, sweet koeksisters, and craft beer at rest stops. As you pedal through the day, prepare to be captivated by breathtaking sunsets that paint the sky in hues of orange and purple. Ride The Karoo is more than a race; it's an opportunity to connect with nature and enjoy cycling on its own terms.
E-bikes are welcome for this event, ensuring everyone can partake in the unique experience regardless of their physical condition or skill level.
Please note that registration requires selecting either standard bikes or e-bike options.
