Mont Blanc Ride for a Reason | 2027

On April 3, 2027, the Taroko Trail Park in Modderfontein will come alive with cyclists of all ages and skill levels as they pedal through scenic trails for the Mont Blanc Ride for a Reason. This year's event promises new trail sections, including categories specifically designed for e-bike enthusiasts, making it an exciting challenge for both beginners and seasoned riders.
Participants can choose from several routes: a 10 km course tailored for kids under 16 and novice cyclists starting at 9 AM; a more challenging 25 km route that kicks off earlier at 8 AM; and the longest distance of 45 km or 65 km, with e-bike options available as well. The early morning start times allow riders to enjoy the park's serene environment before it gets too crowded.
The event not only offers a thrilling cycling experience but also includes exclusive goodie bags for all participants, post-ride food and refreshments, professional timing by BoutTime, and live DJ entertainment that keeps the energy high throughout the day. Top male and female riders in each distance category will be awarded medals on the podium, while the rider who raises the most funds for Little Eden through their GivenGain fundraising page will receive a special prize.
Join Mont Blanc Financial Services as they continue to support Little Eden's mission of providing lifelong care to children and adults with profound intellectual disabilities. Whether you're cycling solo or joining friends and family, this event is a chance to push your limits while making a meaningful impact on the lives of those in need.
