Reading Triathlon, Aquathlon & Aquabike 2027

Entries for 2027 are now open, offering participants an exclusive chance to experience one of Britain's pioneering triathlon events. The Reading Triathlon, first held at Kirtons Farm Water Sports Centre back in 1983, continues its legacy as a race run by and for the community.
This year’s event offers seven unique racing options suitable for all levels:
- Super Sprint Distance Triathlon
- Sprint Distance Triathlon
- Standard Distance Triathlon
- Sprint Relay Triathlon
- Sprint Distance Aquathlon
- Sprint Distance Aquabike
- Standard Distance Aquabike
Each race begins with a refreshing open water swim in the pristine waters of Hi5 Open Water Swim Centre. Participants then transition to exhilarating bike rides through picturesque local lanes, including Burghfield, Mortimer, Silchester, Stratfield Saye, and Grazeley. The event concludes with an invigorating run along scenic lakeside trails.

The club is committed to sustainability, avoiding T-shirt giveaways and plastic cups at water stations. Instead, participants can purchase an eco-friendly swim cap or a reusable cup when registering if needed.
