Randonnée VTT des 2 forêts 2026

On Sunday, October 11, 2026, the Vélo Club de Beynes will host the 36th edition of the Randonnée des 2 forêts. This non-competitive cycletouring event offers cyclists a scenic exploration through two beautiful forests near Paris.
Participants can register and pick up their route maps at either the parking lot of Stade Mortemai on D119 or Rue Général Leclerc in Beynes from 7:30 to 10:00 AM. A welcome snack, including coffee and a pastry, will be served during this time.
The event features four distinct routes with varying levels of difficulty:
- The Family Route (27 km) offers gentle terrain with an elevation gain of 423 meters and one rest stop.
- For beginners looking to ease into longer rides, the Beginner Route (37 km) provides a moderate challenge with 597 meters in elevation gain and one rest area.
- Cyclists seeking more adventure will enjoy the Sportive Route (49 km), which includes an impressive climb of 816 meters over two rest stops.
- The Expert Route (60 km) is designed for seasoned riders, featuring a tough ascent of 987 meters across two rest areas.
All routes are clearly marked with yellow and white signs as well as ribbon markers to guide participants through the forested landscape. Participants can set off anytime between 7:30 AM and 10:00 AM, allowing for flexibility based on personal preferences or riding groups.
Upon arrival back at Stade Mortemai's parking lot by 9:00 PM latest, riders will be greeted with a hearty sandwich and refreshing drink. The event concludes around 1:30 PM, providing ample time to relax after the ride.
