The Red Barn – 3180 Old County Road. Pine AZ 85544 Saturday May 15, 2027 6:00 AM. 7:30 AM & 8:00 AM Welcome to the 8th Annual Pine Trail Run located in the beautiful town of Pine, AZ. The annual Pine Trail Run raises funds to improve the health of our forest by adding new sustainable trails, improving existing trails and educating the public in wildfire prevention through our Firewise Garden and Fire Interpretive Trail. Their mission is to reduce the risk of catastrophic fire in and around the Rim Country communities of Pine and Strawberry. The race courses run along the Mogollon Rim at about 6000 ft. elevation, mostly on trails built and maintained by the PSFR trail crew and the Arizona Trail Association. The PSFR crew works all year long maintaining and improving the Pine area trails in the Tonto National Forest. All runners will park at the RED BARN and will be bused to the start line. There will be porta-pottys available at the RED BARN. All runners will end their race at the RED BARN. Camping is available in the arena near the barn for race weekend (4PM Friday to 4PM) Sunday. There are only 15 spaces available, so they are first come first served basis with a minimal fee. All 6K and 10-mile runners will receive a free breakfast. Also, runners in all races will have the option to purchase extra breakfasts and dinners for themselves and friends during online registration only ($11 for breakfast & $13 for dinner). We also plan to have packet pick up Friday evening and Saturday morning at the Red Barn. All participants will have their choice of either a commemorative tech t-shirt or hat. You must register online by May 1, 2027 in order to be guaranteed a shirt or technical running cap. You must be at least 6 years old for the 6K, 10 years old for the 10 mile or 12 years old for the 50K on the day of the race to register. Event will take place rain or shine and NO credit or refunds for any cancelations. The 6k race starts at 7:30am at Pine Trailhead and finishes at the RED BARN. The 10-mile race starts at 8am at Camp Lomia and finishes at the RED BARN. The 50k race starts at 6am at Pine Trailhead and finishes at the RED BARN.
Top award will be presented to the overall male and female of all 3 distances. We will also have awards for age ranking for all 3 distances.
PSFR, originally an oversight committee for fuel reduction efforts in the community, was incorporated in 2007 as a 501-c-3 nonprofit community organization. Our focus has been to become the voice of the community and to help conceive and create new projects and innovations that would move Pine and Strawberry to the forefront within the state, if not the nation, as a community coming together to make our area a safer place to live. Pine Strawberry Fuel Reduction, Inc. is a completely volunteer, nonprofit community organization and is dependent entirely upon private donations and grants for its operation. The relative cost of funding fire prevention programs and activities is certainly small in comparison with all that we stand to lose here in the Rim Country.
