PIGUM by Pegasus 2027

Experience the breathtaking beauty of Wales through the PIGUM Ultra Marathon, a circuitous route around Abergavenny's Black Mountains. This challenging 30-mile course invites runners and walkers alike to conquer iconic Sugar Loaf mountain, ascending over 6,260 feet in elevation. With panoramic views at every turn, this event offers an unforgettable journey through epic landscapes.
The PIGUM is not just a race; it serves as the perfect preparation for longer trail adventures like the Stable Adventures Epona 100 and Wild Horse South Wales 200. For those looking to tackle half the distance, the PIGUM Half provides all the excitement of its full counterpart in a more manageable format.
Joining forces with other Pegasus events, participants can qualify for the prestigious PEGASUS SLAM by completing six races across the year, including PIGUM and others such as WYVUM or CRANUM. The HALF SLAM offers an alternative challenge at 90 miles total distance through half-marathon segments.
Registration includes discounts on entry fees when signing up for multiple events, access to exclusive support networks like the PEGASUS SLAM WhatsApp group, and a chance to earn coveted finisher's memorabilia or join the Hall of Fame.
On July 3, 2027, immerse yourself in the supportive community atmosphere as you traverse rugged terrain under Welsh skies.
