Piggys 5K Walk-Run

The Piggys 5K returns to Waltham on November 21, 2026, offering runners and walkers an engaging course through the heart of the city. Starting at 1:00 PM from the Waverley Oaks Parking Lot, this scenic race features a fully paved route that accommodates strollers and baby joggers while maintaining safety standards by prohibiting skateboards, roller blades, bicycles, and animals on the course.
Participants can enjoy chip timing provided by Yankee Timing as they navigate through some inclines along the 3.1-mile (5K) journey. The race concludes back at City Streets, where a lively post-race party awaits with music, food buffets, raffles, door prizes, and DJ Shaw spinning tracks into the evening.
Early registrants receive complimentary t-shirts while supplies last, and bib pick-up is encouraged on Friday from 4 PM to 7 PM or race day from 11 AM to 12:45 PM. Parking is available in the lot next to City Streets (behind the medical building).
The event honors Paul "Piggy" Logue, a beloved Waltham resident who passed away suddenly fifteen years ago. Proceeds benefit the Paul Logue Charitable Fund, supporting local community initiatives and charities.
Join fellow runners for a memorable day of fun and fundraising in honor of Piggy's legacy.
