Join Phoenix Running South Wales for the festive fun of our Christmas Jumper Run on Saturday, December 5th, 2026 at Parc Taf Bargoed in Trelewis. This year, we're embracing the holiday spirit early by inviting participants to run or walk through this picturesque park while wearing a specially designed long-sleeved running top emblazoned with Christmas cheer. The event offers runners and walkers alike an opportunity to explore the 5.3km out-and-back course at their own pace, from a single lap to multiple laps over seven hours. The terrain is entirely tarmac, making it accessible for all levels of fitness while offering stunning views shaped by both industrial heritage and modern revitalization. Participants will receive a unique long-sleeved running top made exclusively by REdbEAR Sports, typically retailing between £28 - £35, as a thank you for joining us. Additionally, Phoenix Runners can enjoy an exclusive discount code at the REdbEAR online shop through event emails. The course features a gentle elevation profile of 63 meters gain and loss per lap, winding through Parc Taf Bargoed's scenic landscapes. This flexible format allows runners to start whenever they arrive between 8:30am and registration opening at 7:30am, making it easy for everyone to participate without feeling rushed or pressured. Whether you're aiming to complete a single loop or pushing yourself to see how far you can go in the seven-hour window, every finisher will receive a bespoke medal. This event is not just about setting personal bests but celebrating the joy of running and community spirit during the holiday season. Experience the festive atmosphere at Parc Taf Bargoed on this special day as we welcome runners from all walks of life to come together in a unique blend of exercise, fun, and charity. Don't miss out—spaces are limited, so secure your spot early for an unforgettable run surrounded by holiday cheer. For any specific start time requests or further information, feel free to contact the organizers directly. We look forward to seeing you there!
