Join Phoenix Running Cambridgeshire for a festive pre-Christmas run along the picturesque River Great Ouse in St Neots, where runners of all abilities can enjoy an out-and-back course through Riverside Park. This flexible timed event offers participants the freedom to choose their own distance—ranging from 5km to ultra-marathon distances—by completing laps around a scenic 3.28-mile loop that winds along Regatta Meadow and past the river.
The run takes place in a relaxed atmosphere, with runners welcomed at any point between 08:00 am and 09:00 am (registration starts from 7:30 am), allowing everyone to start when they're ready. The course itself is flat and fast, featuring minimal elevation changes along footpaths and grassy areas that offer stunning views of the river.
To keep runners energized throughout their chosen distance, aid stations will be stocked with festive treats designed to boost morale on a chilly winter morning.
