PFW Running - Curvy Cuerden Challenge

Embark on an invigorating adventure through the picturesque Cuerden Valley park, located just outside Preston. This unique race offers flexibility and inclusivity for runners of all levels, with options to run as little or as much as you desire within a 6-hour window.
The course is set along undulating trails that wind their way around lush greenery and serene wildlife habitats. The main event features several lap choices: complete one full 5k loop for an easy-going experience, aim for the marathon distance by running eight laps plus a short additional circuit, or tackle a half-marathon with four loops followed by a brief extra stretch.
Regardless of your chosen challenge, every participant will receive an official time and a bespoke medal upon completion. The course is meticulously marked with signs and supported throughout by friendly marshals who are there to ensure you have the best possible experience.
Refreshments are available at an aid station located approximately midway through each lap, providing runners with essential sustenance during their run. Additionally, the visitor center will be open for participants seeking refreshments or a place to rest between laps.
A portion of every entry fee—£3 per participant—is generously donated back to Cuerden Valley park to support its ongoing maintenance and preservation efforts. This event is not only about personal achievement but also contributes positively to the local community environment.
