Osprey 5k & 10k

On December 13, 2026, runners and walkers gather at Osprey Leisure Centre for an unforgettable race along the coast. Registration takes place from 7:45 to 8:45 AM in the main sports hall, followed by a brief meeting on the start line at 8:50 AM.
The event features both a 5k and a 10k course that wind through scenic coastal paths and quiet roads. The trail sections are rocky along parts of the beach road, requiring careful footing but offering stunning ocean views. Marshals guide runners safely across several busy intersections throughout the route.
For those completing the full 10k distance, expect to enjoy twice as much coastline beauty before returning to Osprey Leisure Centre for a finish line celebration. The shorter 5k follows the same path up until its midway point where marshals redirect participants back towards the starting area and finish line.
Participants can look forward to aid stations stocked with water, squash, coke, and jelly babies at mile four, along with warm soup, hot chocolate, and cake available for purchase in the leisure centre's cafe. The event also offers a bespoke medal to all who cross the finish line.
Parking is conveniently located near Osprey Leisure Centre, where participants will find both toilets and showers upon arrival or departure from their run. All proceeds go directly towards funding the new roof appeal at Osprey Centre, making every step count for an important local cause.
