Held on the Yodo River bank in Osaka, this race uses a 10 km loop with less than 2 m of elevation difference and is certified by both the Japan Association of Athletics Federations and World Athletics. Events are the full marathon, 30K, half marathon, 10K, 5K and 1 mile, with fees of 11,000 yen for the full, 7,700 yen for the half and 30K, 5,500 yen for 10K and 3,300 yen for the 5K and mile. Pacers cover 12 groups, from 2:30 to 4:20 at full marathon pace. Water, sports drink and salt tablets are available every 3 to 4 km, with food once every 10 km. Runners line up just five minutes before the start, leaving time to warm up. Time limits are 4:30 for the full marathon, 3:12 for the 30K and 2:15 for the half. Results are issued as web certificates. The race is a designated R.LEAGUE event, with a 10 percent entry discount from a runner's second start, and a partner race of TEAM ONE TOKYO, which offers a chance at Tokyo Marathon entry. The start area is in front of the Nishinakajima baseball fields, and the full marathon starts at 9:30 with the mile at 9:35.
