Orthopaedic Walkathon

Step into a healthier lifestyle with Moonot Healthcare Foundation's 2nd Edition of India’s First-Ever Orthopaedic Walkathon, now taking place on November 1st at RK Beach in Visakhapatnam. This walkathon is dedicated to promoting bone and joint health through the simple yet powerful act of walking.
Choose from three engaging distances designed for all levels:
- Healthy Kick Start (3 km): A gentle introduction that helps you ease into a healthier routine.
- Mobility Milestone (5 km): Ideal for those looking to push their limits while supporting bone and joint health awareness.
- Resilient Striders (7 km): For the more experienced walkers, this longer distance offers an opportunity to challenge yourself and make a significant impact.
The event kicks off at 6:00 AM sharp on RK Beach. Participants will enjoy a comprehensive package of activities aimed at enhancing their walking experience:
- Free bone density testing
- Foot scans to identify your unique foot type
- Expert advice from professionals on selecting the right footwear for you
- Warm-up sessions and physiotherapy stretches led by certified instructors
Event merchandise such as t-shirts, bibs, and participation medals will be provided to all participants. Additionally, there are hydration stations and snack kiosks available throughout the route to ensure everyone stays energized during their walk.
