About the Event

Experience the fun and excitement of the Otta Running Festival 2027 on January 31, 2027! This family-friendly event offers five different race categories to cater to all ages and abilities: Family Run, Junior Run, Half Marathon, a 5km run, and Relay Marathon.
The festival is designed for everyone with free entry to its various sub-events. Enjoy the day with your loved ones as you explore the scenic routes around Otta. Alongside the races, there will be food stalls offering delicious treats from local vendors.
For those participating in the Half Marathon or 5km run, registration fees are set at ¥6,500 for adults and ¥4,500 for high school students for the Half Marathon, while the 5km run costs ¥3,000 for adults and ¥2,000 for middle schoolers. The Family Run welcomes all ages with an entry fee of ¥2,000 per adult (18 years or older) and ¥1,000 per child under 17, while children aged three and below can join for free. Junior runners will pay ¥1,500 to participate.
Relay Marathon teams face a registration cost of ¥3,000 for adults, with high school students and younger paying ¥2,000 each. All participants must also cover an additional entry processing fee on top of the race fees.
