About the Event

The Ochil Ultra returns on September 24, 2027, offering runners two challenging distances through the breathtaking landscapes of Scotland’s Ochils range: a 30-mile route and a more ambitious 50-mile option. Both courses are meticulously marked and supported throughout their entirety, ensuring that participants can focus solely on conquering this scenic terrain.
The event is renowned for its welcoming atmosphere and supportive community, making it an ideal choice for both experienced ultrarunners and those looking to tackle longer distances in a friendly environment. Each mile of the course winds through stunning trails, offering panoramic views of rolling hills and picturesque valleys that make every step feel worthwhile.
Checkpoints are strategically placed along the route, providing essential support with medical assistance and nourishment readily available. Runners can also enjoy real-time GPS tracking to monitor their progress throughout the event. Upon crossing the finish line, each participant will receive a well-deserved medal as a testament to their achievement.
With lower entry costs for 2027, this year’s Ochil Ultra promises an even more accessible and inclusive experience for all runners seeking adventure in Scotland's beautiful countryside.
