Nytårsløbet i Kolding 2026

Kick off the New Year with style at Nytårsløbet i Kolding, set to take place on December 31, 2026. The race offers runners and walkers of all abilities options ranging from a scenic 5 km route through Drejensområdet to an exhilarating half-marathon that covers the stunning 10.5 km course twice.
The event is celebrated for its beautiful surroundings in Kolding’s picturesque Drejensområde, featuring a mix of asphalt and natural terrain like gravel paths and sandy stretches. Participants can enjoy post-race refreshments while taking advantage of nearby opportunities to indulge in some winter swimming at the adjacent fjord if they dare.
Medals are awarded to all finishers with spectacular gold-and-glimmer tokens that make for memorable keepsakes. The race kicks off promptly, starting at 10:00 AM for half-marathon runners and concluding with a lively atmosphere as walkers and shorter distance runners cross the finish line by noon.
With limited spots available—maxing out at just 600 participants—the event promises an intimate setting where everyone can soak in the festive spirit. Prizes are awarded to both male and female winners across all distances, adding some competitive flair to this family-friendly celebration of running and community.
