Juleløbet Skamling - Et anderledes Juleeventyr 2026

Step into the festive spirit at Juleløbet Skamling on December 13, 2026, where tradition meets innovation. This year marks the 14th edition of this unique Christmas adventure, offering a range of routes that cater to all levels and ages.
The highlight is the Santa Claus Half Marathon (approximately 21 km), which winds around Skamlingsbanken twice with an exciting twist: runners tackle the second lap in reverse. Joining this are two scenic runs along similar paths—the Rudolph 10.5 km and The Sleigh Ride, a slightly shorter 6.5 km option.
For those who prefer walking, there's The Crawling Elf (6.5 km), perfect for enjoying the stunning winter landscape at your own pace. Meanwhile, younger participants can explore Skamlingsbanken through Nissepus, an engaging orienteering race around school grounds designed just for them.
Adding a new challenge is THE ELF COMPASS, a beginner-friendly 5-7 km course that introduces runners to basic orienteering skills without the need for a compass. This event offers marked routes and checkpoint sheets, making it accessible yet adventurous.
Juleløbet Skamling continues its tradition of evolving each year with fresh routes and exciting features like an upgraded Christmas market, Santa’s Merchant Courtyard, promising a day filled with festive cheer and unforgettable experiences.
