Nordiska Mästarnas Backyard Ultra

The Nordic Masters Ultra Race, scheduled for October 2, 2027, takes place at Fyskompaniet Training Center on Rattens Gränd 1, Bromölla. Nestled near the arena, this picturesque venue offers a mix of indoor and outdoor running options depending on weather conditions leading up to race day.
The course is meticulously designed with various terrains including asphalt (2530m), grass (152m), steep hills (1301m), gravel paths (2700m), and even a wooden bridge (23m). With an elevation gain of approximately 30 meters, runners will encounter varied landscapes that challenge both endurance and agility. The race route is clearly marked with reflective tape and directional arrows to guide participants through tricky sections.
Competitors can expect well-stocked aid stations throughout the course offering water, sports drinks, snacks, and meals at specific intervals such as pancakes after 14 laps, a full lunch menu starting from Sunday afternoon, and evening snacks. Vegan and gluten-free options are always available for dietary restrictions.
Post-race amenities include spacious changing rooms with showers and saunas located near the arena. Buses will transport participants to nearby accommodations like Iföhus Hotel (about 1.3km away) or Bromölla Camping & Vandrarhem (just 0.8km from the venue). Spectators are encouraged to cheer on runners at the start area, along Käsebron bridge, or near the scenic northern section of Lilla Kungsleden trail.
