Nara Trail Runners Cup 2027 (トレイルランナーズカップ奈良2027)

Experience the rare opportunity to run on Nara's iconic Mount Wakakusa, one of Japan's UNESCO World Heritage sites. This special race offers runners an exclusive chance to explore this historic mountain, which is usually closed to the public, and enjoy panoramic views of ancient Nara city.
The event features two course options: a longer 8km route that challenges participants with varied terrain while offering breathtaking vistas at every turn; and a shorter 4km option for those who wish to take in the scenery at a more leisurely pace. The mountain's open spaces provide an ideal setting for runners looking to push their limits or for families seeking a relaxed hiking experience.
Participants can expect clear, invigorating air as they traverse the trails of Mount Wakakusa, immersing themselves in the rich history and natural beauty that make this area so unique. Whether you're racing through the landscape or taking your time to appreciate the surroundings, March 14th promises an unforgettable day for all who join.
Registration fees are tailored by age group:

- ¥4,000 for middle school students
- ¥5,000 for participants aged 15 to 24 (high school and university)
