The MTB Vintercuppen Nordsjælland, set for November 15, 2026, invites mountain bikers to explore the diverse terrain of Teglstrup Hegn. This segment of the cup features a challenging yet manageable course that winds through varied landscapes, including technical single tracks and gravel paths. The race route spans approximately four to eight kilometers with an allotted time of 80 minutes plus any additional laps completed.
Participants will face both natural and man-made obstacles as they navigate the forest trails, making this event ideal for riders looking to test their skills in a winter setting. New for this year is the inclusion of an E-MTB class starting alongside traditional competitors. Riders are encouraged to position themselves at the start based on strength and ability to minimize overtaking.
The cup also introduces youth categories designed specifically for young athletes, including U16 Piger (girls), U18 Piger, U16 Drenge (boys), and U18 Drenge classes, ensuring a competitive environment tailored to their abilities. These dedicated divisions foster growth among younger riders while maintaining separate standings from adult competitors.
