On April 23, 2027, runners from around the world will converge on Japan for one of the nation's premier trail running events: the FUJI100mi. This challenging race is part of the World Trail Majors series and features a grueling 160-kilometer course that winds through some of Fuji’s most scenic landscapes.
Joining the main event are two additional distances, KAI70k (70 kilometers) and ASUMI40k (40 kilometers), both offering breathtaking views of Mount Fuji as participants navigate rugged terrain. The race also includes a shorter option with Mt.FUJImini for those looking to experience the trail without committing to such long distances.
The event takes place in the shadow of Japan’s iconic volcano, with runners starting and finishing at the picturesque Fuji North Slope Park. This setting provides not only stunning scenery but also a unique cultural atmosphere as participants celebrate alongside local communities.
Registration fees include generous contributions towards environmental conservation efforts: FUJI100mi costs 105,000 yen (including a donation of 55,000 yen and participation fee), KAI70k is priced at 81,000 yen (donation of 51,000 yen plus participation fee), while ASUMI40k registration stands at 60,000 yen (38,000 yen donation and a 22,000 yen entry fee).
