Midweek Chasing Numbers Mar 2027

Join us for the March Midweek Chasing Numbers Run, an affordable and flexible race designed to cater to every runner's goals. Held on Friday, March 19, 2027, this event offers participants the freedom to choose their own distance within a 7-hour timeframe, starting as early as 7:30 AM.
The course follows a scenic stretch of the River Thames and is marked with clear signs for easy navigation. Approximately 60% of the route consists of well-maintained paths or tarmac, while the remaining sections are grassy trails that may become muddy at certain times of the year. Trail shoes can be used if you prefer extra grip on softer terrain.
All abilities are welcome—from casual walkers to seasoned runners—and members enjoy discounted entry fees and exclusive perks like a mini-me medal pin for each event attended. UK Athletics affiliated club members also receive an additional £2 discount.
The minimum distance is 3 kilometers, with full laps measuring either 4.37 miles (or approximately 7 kilometers) or potentially adjusted to 3.28 miles based on course conditions. Participants can run as many laps as they wish within the time limit and age restrictions set by UK Athletics guidelines.
Upon completing at least 3 kilometers, runners receive a finisher's medal. Distance pins are awarded for half-marathon (13.1 miles), marathon (26.2 miles), ultra distances of 50 kilometers or more, and mega-half marathons (twice the standard distance).
Aid stations with refreshments such as snacks, fruit, cheese, and vegan options will be available at the start/finish line throughout the day.
The Last Hop pub provides basic facilities including toilets for changing clothes if needed. Parking is conveniently located in Bridge Street Car Park near Staines.
Race day instructions and number pick-up details will be communicated via email a week before the event. Don't forget to inform us about any special milestones you're celebrating, as we'll provide personalized running numbers with your name and achievement date.
Join us for an inclusive and scenic run along the River Thames, where flexibility meets affordability in pursuit of personal goals.
