May 4th be with you 5k

Join us on May 4, 2027, for an unforgettable Star Wars-themed running adventure at the Voodoo Keller Bar! This unique race combines creativity and competition with a fun-filled run through scenic routes. Participants are encouraged to dress up in their best Star Wars-inspired costumes for a chance to win prizes.
Registration begins inside the Voodoo Keller Bar from 18:00, providing ample time to socialize before the start of the event at 18:30. The race route follows a GPX/Strava path that is narratively backed up and will be sent out via email in April for your preparation.
The run itself features an engaging course with varied terrain, including stairs as you navigate between floors within the building's basement before heading outdoors. This challenging yet exciting layout ensures runners experience both indoor and outdoor elements of the route.
Upon completion, all participants receive a finisher’s drink (beer, wine, or soft/hot beverage), a packet of crisps, and an exclusive 50th anniversary T-shirt commemorating this special event. A tail walker will accompany runners to ensure everyone stays on track throughout the race.
Transport options are plentiful with easy access via buses, trains, bicycles, hire scooters, walking paths, or car parking within a two-minute walk from the venue. Remember to take your mobile phone along for safety and convenience during the run.
Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your creativity while enjoying an exhilarating running experience in one of Bristol's most iconic bars! Bragging rights are up for grabs as we celebrate Star Wars with style, fun, and a dash of competitive spirit. See you there!
Please note that non-TRA/EA members will be charged £2 upon registration. And remember, safety first—do not drink and drive!
