About the Event

On November 15, 2026, runners and walkers will converge on Fortaleza's Centro de Eventos do Ceará for the Corrida Cometa Supermercados. This vibrant race features distances ranging from a family-friendly 2 km walk to challenging marathons of 42.195 kilometers, catering to athletes at all levels.
The event takes place in the heart of Fortaleza along picturesque routes that showcase the city's rich cultural landscape and stunning architecture. Participants can look forward to crossing the finish line back where they started – next to UNIFOR’s gates on Rua Governador Manoel de Castro Filho, formerly known as Paisagística Street.
Organized by BRB MKT Esportivo with results homologated by the Federação Cearense de Atletismo (FCAt), this race offers a competitive edge for those seeking to test their limits in categories like General Male and Female across 5 km, 10 km, 21 km, and full marathon distances. For corporate teams, there's also a dedicated Collaborators category.
The event is committed to inclusivity with special accommodations for participants with disabilities in the PCD/ACD (People with Disabilities) division, including specific categories like wheelchair racing over 5 kilometers. The atmosphere promises to be electric as thousands of runners and supporters come together to celebrate athleticism and community spirit on this exciting day in Fortaleza.
