TAÍBA TRAIL RACE

On November 1, 2026, runners will gather at Mirante Praia da Taíba in São Gonçalo do Amarante, Ceará for an exhilarating trail run along the scenic coastline and through natural dunes. The race offers two distances: a shorter LIGHT course of approximately 7 kilometers and a more challenging SPORT route spanning around 14 kilometers.
Participants will navigate varied terrain that includes local streets, stretches of sandy beach, and rugged dune landscapes. This diverse setting presents both technical challenges and breathtaking views along the way. Race organizers provide clear signage in the form of colored tapes (green for SPORT and blue for LIGHT), spray markings on walls and posts, white chalk marks, yellow signs with arrows, cavaletes, and staff support to guide runners through the course.
The event promises a unique blend of natural beauty and adventure, making it an unforgettable experience for trail running enthusiasts. Runners can expect dynamic elevation changes and potentially uneven terrain as they traverse this picturesque coastal area. For those seeking additional comfort and memorabilia from their run, three kit options are available: BASIC (number, chip, medal, snacks), GOLD (BASIC plus a personalized shirt), and PREMIUM (GOLD with either a custom visor or water bottle).
Registration is open until October 23, 2026 at www.ticketsports.com.br. Discounts for groups of ten or more are available upon request. Runners aged 60+ and PCDs can also enjoy a 50% discount on the BASIC kit with proof of eligibility.
This trail run is not to be missed by anyone looking to immerse themselves in nature while pushing their limits along the stunning beaches and dunes of Praia da Taíba.
