About the Event

Experience one of Canada’s most scenic and runner-approved courses through Winnipeg’s loveliest residential neighborhoods. The Manitoba Marathon is known for its flat, fast, and shaded routes, ideal for runners of all levels. Race Options: Full Marathon: Follow the historic course designed by Fred Dawson in 1980, host of past Canadian Marathon and Masters Championships, and the 1999 Pan American Games Marathons. Half Marathon: Share the scenic start with full marathon runners, then branch off for a shorter but equally exciting route back to Princess Auto Stadium. Relay: Grab three friends, family members, or coworkers for a fun team experience covering the full marathon distance. 10K: Run or stroll this Father’s Day along part of the marathon course. Super Run (5K): A fun, non-competitive event for friends and family to enjoy together. Mini & Mighty Mites: A race for kids ages 5 and under and 6–8, featuring short “scoot” races with bibs, finisher medals, and post-race treats. Registration: Opens: December 1, 2025 Online registration closes: May 30, 2026 No refunds or deferrals; event changes and transfers possible online for a fee. School program participants: special registration available through the Champions in Training School Program.
