About the Event

Set against the backdrop of picturesque Maardu, Estonia, the Maardu City Run on August 29, 2027, offers runners an invigorating journey through scenic landscapes and charming urban settings. Participants can choose from three distances: a challenging 10K route that winds through lush parks and historic neighborhoods; a more accessible 5K course featuring local landmarks and community spots; or the family-friendly 2.5K option designed for younger athletes and first-time runners alike.
The race day atmosphere is lively, with enthusiastic spectators lining the streets to cheer on participants as they navigate both flat stretches and gentle inclines that highlight Maardu's natural beauty. Runners will experience a mix of paved paths and softer terrain, offering a balanced challenge suitable for all skill levels. The event promises not only competitive excitement but also an opportunity to explore one of Estonia’s most vibrant small cities while enjoying its rich cultural heritage.
As the race concludes, participants can look forward to post-race festivities including refreshments and live music in a central gathering spot within Maardu, fostering community spirit and camaraderie among runners and locals alike.
